Annie, mother of two boys, founded Mentor Mums in autumn 2020 after realising that there was a serious gap in the provision of support for parents returning to work after materntiy leave. She has been astounded by the incredible women who have come forward to lend their skills and support to the programme.
Jen is a People Development Advisor at ALD Automotive, where she responds to the training needs of more than 700 staff. Jen is a qualified coach with a passion for supporting the learning and development of others. Since having her daughter during the Pandemic and accessing invaluable support from mental health services, Jen has a heart for ensuring that other new parents get the support they need.
Amy is Head of Partnership Management at Shelter, the housing and homelessness charity, where she leads a team of corporate fundraisers. She is also mum to two boys, aged six and two. She first worked with Mentor Mums as a mentor, and is passionate about helping other women find the support they need.
Iris is a mum of one and a Finance Lawyer with experience in both private practice and in-house. She was Managing Counsel at renewable energy company, Lightsource BP until recently, when she decided to take a career break to focus on other aspects of her life, including working with Mentor Mums. She is passionate about supporting others in their journey to rediscover themselves after becoming a mother.
Emily is a mum of two, and a Fundraising Expert and Trainer at Corndel. She has been a huge supporter of Mentor Mums, initially sampling the programme as a mentee, before moving on to mentor another mum back to work, as well as lending her fundraising expertise to the future growth of the organisation.
David builds the Tech behind Mentor Mums - from the web platform to the matching system that our match coordinators use. He has supported Mentor Mums from the beginning, wholeheatedly backing the mission to support new parents.
